Entry filters in Evalato explained
Entries > Filters
Evalato lets you filter your entries by multiple elements, including ID, when the entry was last updated, name, registrant, category, tags, rounds, and a specific round.
Filter by ID
Use this filter to find entries by their unique ID. The ID filter has the following options:
- Contains — shows entries whose ID includes the value you enter.
- Does not contain — shows entries whose ID does not include the value you enter.
- Equals — shows entries whose ID exactly matches the value you enter.
- Does not equal — shows entries whose ID does not exactly match the value you enter.
- Begins with — shows entries whose ID starts with the value you enter.
- Ends with — shows entries whose ID ends with the value you enter.
- Blank — shows entries that have no ID assigned.
- Not blank — shows entries that have an ID assigned.
Filter by Last Updated
Use this filter to find entries based on when they were last modified. The Last Updated filter has seven options:
- Equals — shows entries last updated on the date you enter.
- Does not equal — shows entries last updated on any date other than the one you enter.
- Before — shows entries last updated before the date you enter.
- After — shows entries last updated after the date you enter.
- Between — shows entries last updated within the date range you enter.
- Blank — shows entries with no last updated date recorded.
- Not blank — shows entries that have a last updated date recorded.
Filter by Name
Use this filter to find entries by their name. The Name filter has the following options:
- Contains — shows entries whose name includes the value you enter.
- Does not contain — shows entries whose name does not include the value you enter.
- Equals — shows entries whose name exactly matches the value you enter.
- Does not equal — shows entries whose name does not exactly match the value you enter.
- Begins with — shows entries whose name starts with the value you enter.
- Ends with — shows entries whose name ends with the value you enter.
- Blank — shows entries that have no name assigned.
- Not blank — shows entries that have a name assigned.
Filter by Registrant
Use this filter to find entries by the person who submitted them. The Registrant filter has the following options:
- Contains — shows entries whose registrant name includes the value you enter.
- Does not contain — shows entries whose registrant name does not include the value you enter.
- Equals — shows entries whose registrant name exactly matches the value you enter.
- Does not equal — shows entries whose registrant name does not exactly match the value you enter.
- Begins with — shows entries whose registrant name starts with the value you enter.
- Ends with — shows entries whose registrant name ends with the value you enter.
- Blank — shows entries that have no registrant assigned.
- Not blank — shows entries that have a registrant assigned.
Filter by Category
Use this filter to find entries by their category. The arrow button will open all the categories in your program and let you tick the ones you want to filter entries by.
Filter by Status
Use this filter to select entries by status — Approved, Cancelled, Changes Requested, Draft, and/or Rejected.
Filter by Tag
Use this filter to find entries with a specific tag or tags assigned. The arrow button will open all the tags that exist in your program and let you tick the ones you want to filter entries by.
Filter by Round
Use this filter to find entries in a specific round. The arrow button will open all rounds in your program and let you tick the ones you want to filter entries by.
Filter by Round Score
Use this filter to find entries based on their score in a specific round. Select a round from your program, then choose from nine options:
- Equals — shows entries with a score that exactly matches the value you enter.
- Does not equal — shows entries with a score that does not match the value you enter.
- Greater than — shows entries with a score higher than the value you enter.
- Greater than or equal to — shows entries with a score higher than or equal to the value you enter.
- Less than — shows entries with a score lower than the value you enter.
- Less than or equal to — shows entries with a score lower than or equal to the value you enter.
- Between — shows entries with a score within the range you enter.
- Blank — shows entries with no score recorded for that round.
- Not blank — shows entries that have a score recorded for that round.
IMPORTANT: When using Greater than, Greater than or equal to, Less than, and Less than or equal to, make sure the numeric value you enter matches your scoring scale. An incorrect value may return misleading results or filter out entries unintentionally.
