How to manage program entries
Dashboard > Entries
The Entries section is where you can view and manage all entries submitted to your program, track their status, and take action on them individually or in bulk.
Viewing entries
Go to Entries on the program menu to see a list of all entries in your program. For each entry, you can see its ID, when it was last updated, name, registrant, category, status, and tags, as well as any rounds it has been assigned to.
Filtering entries
You can filter entries by multiple elements, including ID, last updated date, name, registrant, category, status, tags, rounds, and round score. There are two ways to filter entries in Evalato:
- Use the vertical Filters button on the right side of your screen
- Click the funnel icon directly on any column header.
For a full list of filter options available for each element, see entry filter options.
Sorting and customizing your view
You can sort entries by any column, pin and resize columns, and choose which columns are visible in your list. For full details, see [How to filter and sort records in Evalato].
Managing multiple entries at once
You can select multiple entries by marking the checkboxes on the left of each entry. To select all entries, tick the checkbox next to the ID column header.
Once entries are selected, you can take the following bulk actions:
- Set status — change the status of selected entries. Available options include Approve, Request changes, Request resubmission (after deadline), Reject, Mark as submitted, Move to draft, and Cancel.
- Set tags — add tags to selected entries, create a new tag, or manage existing tags.
- Set rounds — assign selected entries to one or more rounds.
Canceling an entry
To cancel an entry, select its checkbox and choose Cancel from the Set status button. Evalato will ask you to confirm your decision.
IMPORTANT: Canceling an entry deactivates it from the program. This is different from rejecting an entry, which marks it as unsuccessful based on its content or failure to meet criteria. Unlike deleting an entry, which removes it from the program altogether, canceling an entry keeps it as an existing record for reference if needed.
