Create and arrange categories

Settings > Categories

Create at least one application category to be listed on the registration form for the program, applicants can then choose to register for one or more. You can also create groups and subgroups (up to 2 levels inside a main group) to put the categories in. Groups and categories can be arranged with a simple drag-and-drop.

Creating a category

Creating a category is done from Settings > Categories. To add a new category press the Add category button. Later you will need to create an application form and assign it to this new category. Each category can also have different judges assigned to it.

Creating a group

Creating a group is done from Settings > Categories. To add a new group, press the Add group button, and type in the Group name, and, if needed, a description. Unlike the category, which you need for your application form, the group only serves the purpose to help you organize your categories. As such, groups are great for programs which cover different regions, chapters, departments, etc.

Creating a subgroup

To create a subgroup press Add group and move it under the main group, then move it to the right until it can lock into place. The subgroup should be under the main group and aligned to the right from it now.

Assigning a category to a group (or subgroup)

To assign a category to a group, move it under the group (or subgroup) and then move it to the right until it can lock into place. The category should be under the group and aligned to the right from it now.
