[General settings](https://hub.evalato.com/help/setting-up-your-program?hsLang=en#general-settings) # Test your program ## We recommend testing the program processes once you're done setting up the program in Evalato and before going Live. In order to **test the submission process**, please follow these steps: - Make a registration for the program as an applicant would - the program's URL can be found on the **Dashboard**; - Check your email for the registration confirmation and use the URL to log into your personal profile; - Create and send the test application for approval. Keep in mind that testing this process requires you to set up a registration form (**Settings \> Registration**), at least one application category (**Settings** \> **Categories**), and one application form (**Settings** \> **Forms**). Also, make sure that you've allowed applications and registrations when trying to test (**Settings** \> **General \> Program basics**). In order to **test the judging process**, please follow these steps: - Make a test registration for the program as an applicant would and submit the test application for approval; - In your Evalato admin workspace go to **Applications**, *approve* the test application using the **Set status** button, and shortlist it for a round using the **Set round** button; - Go to **Evaluation** \> **Judges** \> **Add judge** to add yourself as a program judge. Make sure you assign yourself to the judging round and category that the test application belongs to; - Check your email for the judging invitation and use the URL to log into the judging portal. Vote on the test application; - Check in **Evaluation** \> **Results** to see if the judge vote for the test application has been registered correctly. - If you are testing in Live mode, you will need to delete the judge vote from **Evaluation** \> **Votes**, remove your test judge from **Evaluation** \> **Judges**, and delete the test registration from **Registrations**.
